The upstairs brasserie dining room is full of character and, especially when candlelit on the winter evenings, is a welcoming and warm area in which to dine. The room offers intimate & interesting spaces for both large parties, (up to 70) and for small table bookings.
Bar meals & a small selection of dishes on the bar specials board are available in the bar at lunchtimes and the full brasserie menu and specials board selection are offered in the dining room in every evening except Sunday.

Monday: 12 noon - 2.30pm & 6pm - 8pm (Bar)
Tues - Saturday: 12 noon - 2.30pm & 6.00pm - 7.30pm (Bar)
7.00pm - 9.30pm (Brasserie Dining Room)
Sunday: 12 noon - 3.00pm
DRINK
The Tithe Bar offers a great range of 6 beers, in contrast to the somewhat more basic range available in the rest of the town!
We always sell Timothy Taylors Landlord and always feature a beer from the Durham Brewery which are very popular given their high quality reputation and distinctive refreshing style. Four guest beers complete the range.
