Good sized portions & straight-forward, no nonsense food is what The Narrow Boat is well known for!
The menu truly reflects the seasons with interesting salad bowls in summer replacing the hearty casseroles and pies of winter. Dining is very informal both in the bar & also in the separate function-cum-dining room which is opened for diners on Friday and Saturday nights.

FOOD SERVICE TIMES
Mondays - Saturdays: 12 noon - 2.30pm
Tuesdays - Saturdays:  5.30pm - 9.00pm
Sundays: 12 noon - 4.00pm

DRINK

The Narrowboat has 8 real ales available. Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter are permanent listings. There are also 2 handpumps devoted to beers from Skipton based Copper Dragon Brewery. Their beers are always of a consistently high quality, which is no surprise once you see the brewery! It is an amazingly well organised modern set up with state of the art, computer controlled brewing equipment.  The other 4 pumps serve an ever changing range of guest beers from our list of breweries which always offers at least one dark beer
