Bar food & the specials board menu are also available in the early evenings until 7pm
The upstairs brasserie dining room is open 6 nights (excluding Sundays) and it can offer a more tranquil haven away from the drinkers downstairs
Although the homemade pie & speciality sausage are firm favourites, the brasserie menu offers an interesting range of meat, fish & vegetarian dishes for those looking for something a little more sophisticated. The dining room can accommodate uo to 40 diners.
The specials board at the Old Bell is used to the full and, as well as an ever-changing variety of dishes throughout the week, on Fridays the board is dominated by a selection of fresh fish & seafood dishes. Seasonal changes in fresh food availability are reflected in the offer on the board as are special menu celebration days such as St Patrick's or Yorkshire Day.

DRINKS
8 cask ales are available at The Old Bell. We have a Timothy Taylor's Beer, Theakstons Best Bitter and Black Sheep Bitter on permanently. One pump is also dedicated to local brewery - Roosters always featuring either one of their established brews or one of their seasonal/experimental brews sold under the "Outlaw" badge. Their brews offer high quality and consistency, usually light golden styled ales, using blends of predominantly Amercian hops to achieve unique fruity aromas and tastes.
The Old Bell also always stocks a Dark Mild and the remaining 3 pumps are for the discerning cask ale fan! The range of guest beers is kept varied to ensure beers on at any one time are a variety of styles and strengths.
