6 Nations 2020

With new coaches and an influx of new talent, the 6 Nations tournament has become even more exciting!

Following the defeat in the World Cup Final, Eddie Jones hinted that changes were planned for England. With the losses of scrum coach Neal Hatley and Scott Wisemantal, and the scrum half players looking low, up-and-coming players such as Harry Randall, Joe Marchant and Ollie Thornley may look to add to their caps.

Appointed on an interim basis, experienced player Franco Smith has taken the reigns of the Italian team from Conor O’Shea. Another major change to the Azzurri is that the record maker Sergio Parisse has announced he will play his last international game on home soil but won’t be available for the whole campaign. With Italy’s last 6 Nations victory being back in 2015, will 2020 be their year?

The reigning Grand Slam champions have also entered a new era, with Wayne Pivac taking over from Warren Gatland. Faced with injured players, with both Jonathan Davies and Gareth Anscombe being ruled out, Wales are preparing to defend their trophy with fresh talent amongst the team.
