This page provides the terms upon which Market Town Taverns Limited will operate its Carling Beer Card Loyalty scheme. If you want to participate in the loyalty scheme, you will need to collect your Carling Loyalty card from one of our participating pubs and register your card by visiting Market Town Taverns’s website (www.markettowntaverns.co.uk).
During the registration of your Carling Loyalty card, you will be required to accept these terms which provide (amongst other things) how you can use your Carling Loyalty card at Market Town Taverns’s participating sites to earn any free Carling pints.
You should ensure that you have read and understood these terms prior to completing the registration of your Carling Loyalty card as these terms will apply to your use of your Carling Loyalty card.
If you don’t accept these terms, then you will not be permitted to register your Carling Loyalty card, which will mean that you will not be permitted to use your Carling Loyalty card or receive any free Carling pints.
1.1 The Carling Beer Card Loyalty scheme is is operated by us, Market Town Taverns Limited (company number 03609525) with its registered office at Old Bell 2nd Floor, 6 Royal Parade, Harrogate, England, HG1 2SZ.
1.2 Your Carling Loyalty card shall at all times remain the property of Market Town Taverns Limited.
1.3 Scheme valid between 1st September 2020 – 30th September 2020.
1.4 We reserve the right to refuse Carling Beer Card Loyalty membership to any person or to refuse to register any Carling Loyalty card or to cancel, to withdraw or to alter these terms or its Carling Beer Card Loyalty scheme at any time and for any reason without prior notice or explanation.
1.5 If we make any amendments to these terms or our Carling Beer Card Loyalty scheme, then such changes will posted online at www.markettowntaverns.co.uk. If we make any amendments to these terms or our Carling Beer Card Loyalty scheme and you subsequently use your card, then you will be deemed to accept such changes.
1.6 Your Carling Loyalty card is provided to you for your personal use in relation to consumer purchases only and business or corporate use is not permitted.
1.7 If you want to cancel your Carling Loyalty card or your Carling Loyalty membership, then you should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting cancellation or return your Carling Loyalty card to any of our participating sites along with a signed and dated written cancellation letter.
2.1 If you want to become a Carling Loyalty member, then you need to be aged 18 years or over at the time of registration of your Carling Loyalty card and you will need to provide a valid email address. If you do not provide a valid email address, then your Carling Loyalty card registration will be unsuccessful.
2.2 An individual can only hold one Carling Loyalty card and only one email address can be registered per Carling Loyalty card.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse, merge or close (at its sole discretion) any additional or duplicated Carling Loyalty memberships or any Carling Loyalty cards at any time.
3.1 Your Carling Loyalty card must be registered with us before you can record and redeem any free Carling pints. To register your Carling Loyalty card please visit our website (www.markettowntaverns.co.uk).
3.2 Once you have registered your Carling Loyalty card and activated your Carling Loyalty membership it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your personal details as soon as possible following any change by sending details of the change by email to email@example.com
4.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that your Carling Loyalty card is used in accordance with these terms.
4.2 Offer only available on Carling at participating sites. The Carling sales that are recorded on your Carling Loyalty card are for your use only and are non-transferrable.
4.3 Please note that your Carling Loyalty card is not a cheque guarantee, debit or credit card and any Carling free pints that you receive do not have any monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4.4 If your Carling Loyalty card is lost or stolen, then it is your responsibility to notify us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can cancel your original Carling Loyalty card and issue a replacement card to you.
4.5 If we receive notification that your Carling Loyalty card has been lost or stolen, then your Carling Loyalty sales balance will be transferred to your replacement card.
4.6 Your Carling Loyalty card will not be accepted as a valid form of personal identification or proof of age by us.
4.7 Only one Carling Loyalty card may be used per transaction that you undertake.
4.8 1 transaction equates to 1 swipe of the card. There is a maximum of 1 swipe per day. This will be left at the participating pub’s manager’s discretion.
4.9 Your Carling Loyalty card may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or on a specially priced menu unless specifically stated by us.
5.0 If you breach these terms, then we shall be entitled to terminate your Carling Loyalty membership and your Carling Loyalty card without notice. If your Carling Loyalty card is terminated, then any Carling Loyalty sales that have been accumulated on your card will be automatically cancelled and you shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever.
5.1 Your Carling Loyalty card does not override the right to refuse service which states that our staff team have the right to refuse service and to request you to leave the premises.
5.1 To qualify for a free pint of Carling, you need to have bought 5 pints of Carling between the promotion dates of the 1st September 2020 and the 3oth September 2020 at any of our participating sites.
5.2 If you purchase a Carling pint at one of our participating sites but you do not present your Carling Loyalty card when settling your bill, then you will not be entitled to earn a Carling Loyalty sale and no Carling Loyalty sale will be recorded on your Carling Loyalty card in relation to that transaction.
5.3 If Carling Loyalty sales are recorded on your Carling Loyalty card in relation to a purchase of qualifying MTT products that is subsequently fully or partially refunded by us, then the corresponding Carling Loyalty sales will be deducted from your Carling Loyalty card.
5.4 1 pint of Carling purchased in participating sites equates to 1 swipe of your Carling Loyalty Card, enlisted the Carling sale onto your account.
6.1 You can redeem your free pint of Carling during any transaction at any of our participating sites on presentation of your Carling Loyalty card at the time of the transaction. Although your Carling Loyalty sales do not have any monetary value, once you reach the set milestone of 5 pints, you will be eligible to redeem your free pint of Carling.
6.2 The Carling Loyalty sales will not be recorded on your Carling Loyalty card and the free pint of Carling cannot be redeemed unless your Carling Loyalty card has been registered with us.
6.3 Your free pint of Carling can be redeemed in any of our participating sites.
6.4 Your free pint of Carling can only be redeemed once and will be automatically deducted from your Carling Loyalty card once redeemed.
6.5 The Carling Loyalty scheme will be active until the 30th September 2020. At this point, any Carling Loyalty sales that are recorded on your Carling Loyalty card will be cancelled.
The Carling Loyalty scheme only operates at our participating sites, which are Thomas Rigby’s, Bear & Billet and the Fly in the Loaf. If you present your Carling Loyalty card in relation to transactions at any of our sites that is not a participating site, then you will not be entitled to earn any Carling Loyalty sales or redeem any free pints of Carling in relation to such transactions.

9.7 If you choose the ‘email opt in’ option during the registration of your Carling Loyalty card, then you will receive emails from us and our group companies about MTT’s products and services, future promotional offers, MTT news and updates.
9.8 If you chose the ‘email opt in’ option but no longer wish to receive emails from us, then you will need to send an email to email@example.com or you can click on the unsubscribe link provided within each email that you receive from us.
9.9 Your rights
10.1 These terms are between you (in your capacity as a Carling Loyalty card holder) and H&B and no other person shall have any rights to enforce any of these terms in relation to your Carling Loyalty card.
10.2 Any dispute between you and H&B or any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of your Carling Loyalty card or these terms or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Isle of Man law and the courts of the Isle of Man shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to such matters.
